The first edition of the celloFORUM Jeremias Fliedl took place from February 15 to 19, 2025, at the Benedictine Abbey of Lambach. Six participants from three nations engaged intensively over five days, experimenting with new practice and performance philosophies, inspiring each other, and, most importantly, enjoying themselves while having the opportunity to forge new friendships.
In addition, the “Klangwerkstatt” workshop was held with renowned Upper Austrian violin maker Roland Schueler. The participants gained fascinating insights into the art of string instrument making and also learned more about their own instruments.
The celloFORUM Jeremias Fliedl also included a guided tour of the monastery complex of Stift Lambach. A spectacular final concert crowned the first edition of the celloFORUM Jeremias Fliedl as part of the Musikakademie Stift Lambach on February 19, 2025, in the baroque summer refectory of the abbey.
